About

IEEE ACTS-2020 is an International Conference with Technical Co-Sponsorship by IEEE Kolkata Section is organized to promote the state of art and cutting edge research in the field of Communication and Signal Processing. IEEE ACTS-2020 is technically supported by IEEE Communications Society SBC-NIT Silchar and financially sponsored by TEQIP-III.... The distinguishing characteristic of IEEE ACTS-2020 is the promotion of advanced research and developments in the promising fields of Communication Technologies and Signal Processing and provide a platform for academia and industry to bridge the gap between academic research, industry initiatives, and governmental policies. The conference aims to foster the theme through keynotes, invited talks, and industry exhibits and oral presentation of research articles in the most relevant areas allied to the theme. The conference will also exhibit Graduate Research Forum to encourage budding young researchers to showcase their innovative research in different domains and to create a valued peer academic research network for future growth. IEEE ACTS-2020 focuses to bring benefits to industry by providing an opportunity to communicate with academic researchers regarding practical problems.

About The Theme

This year the theme is “Connect, Sense and Bridge”. Today’s technological advances in Wireless Communication, Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things or Cyber Physical Systems or Biomedical Signal Processing are generating enormous possibilities to connect numerous devices, networks and systems, Intelligently senses the deliverables and bridge them with the existing physical world.... Technology for future should be based on reaching out to the people, and enable them to use and experience the benefits for a smarter & better society. This would definitely involve innovations in every aspect of engineering such as development of devices, sensing and communication techniques, networking and data processing algorithms, energy utilization, safety and security considerations, efficient biomedical signal processing, accurate diagnosis of diseases& delivery of drugs and so on. Next generation technology will be largely driven by the ubiquitous communication& networking technology encompassing multiple platforms, systems and services; pervasive signal processing algorithms comprising of medical imaging, speech processing for automated systems. In addition to the myriad of topics mentioned in the list below, technical papers are invited which have special focus on enabling technologies for a hyper-connected world. IEEE ACTS 2020 will be held at NIT Silchar, Assam, India. The theme of the conference will foster an environment for deliberating on different research aspects on the said topic.
Authors can submit short (4 pages) and regular (max 6 pages) papers that contain original material which is not currently communicated in other conference or journal, and has not been previously published. Potential research topics include (but not limited to) following thrust areas.
